Sarah Lindeman Root, Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Sarah Root is a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and families. She provides comprehensive assessment services to assess cognitive, adaptive, academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning for children, adolescents, and young adults.
Dr. Root employs a variety of evidence-based treatment for individuals and families that address disruptive behavior in young children, various presentations of anxiety, depression, and social skills deficits, among other concerns. She most often uses a cognitive-behavioral approach and strategies to incorporate health, fitness, and other whole-body wellness intervention to reduce distress and improve the day-to-day lives of children and families.
Dr. Root typically includes parents and/or caregivers in treatment, as well as other relevant parties as necessary to assist children and families in meeting their treatment goals.
